Hello,

Another Astro owner in a musician's forum (TalkBass.com) told me about this site. I have a 2001 Astro, purchased new, currently has 102,000 miles and still going strong. It's been a great truck but has a little issue for which I will seek your advice in another thread. For now, here are a couple of pictures.

This is "Bob" (my daughter named 'him') in front of a clubhouse where I recently performed.

This was the gear I carried to the gig.

I leave the third row of seats out most of the time because I carry a lot of gear to my gigs. It's been a great family-hauler for a long time and taken us on several fun road trips over the years. Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi!".

Very nice van, looks like you take good care of it. Hope you get your issue resolved regarding the van. :supz:

Welcome aboard, and that's a great color. Wish I'd had my van back when I was gigging regularly, would have been much easier than squeezing guitars, amp, speakers, and a rack into a saturn!

Hi,

Thanks for the warm welcom guys! Yes, I like the color too. Too bad the clear coat is starting to creep off in spots. I'll do the best I can to keep it looking good and drive it into the ground like all my other Chevys. I like buying a new car every 20 years whether I need it or not. :yawinkle:
