My hazard switch broke, of course GM designed things so the entire multi-function lever has to be replaced, Im a bit peeved because my original turn signal lever was working fine, the new one does not feel as nice as the original. They should have kept the old design where the hazard switch could be replaced separately.

Well, it was only a matter of time....Someone hit the van.
Drivers running board is scuffed up and the fender is out of shape. Other car was rippled and dented from bumper to bumper and will probably need a new quarter panel. I'm still confused how people cannot see a van.

New Moog sway bar bushings installed today, they seem a lot more firm than stock, but not sure I feel any difference driving. Still trying to find mystery rattles in the front end.

I removed front and rear wiper arms, which were peeling and looked crappy, painted them with black truck bed liner and replaced them. Small job- big difference (to me anyways).

Re: What did you do to/with your van today?
Been having idle issues when its damp/raining for the last week. Trying to gather up my energy to pull the doghouse and swap in the new Delco distributor cap and rotor I have had for the last 2 years out of my toolbox and on to the motor !!
Of course in order to pull the doghouse I will have to pull the seats and shampoo up all the salt stains in the carpet from the winter that spilled over the rubber mats ( and under the seat !! ), and while I am at it I may as well shampoo the seats and the drivers seatbelt is getting pretty dirty too.... oh the "to-do" list goes on !!
I must say that the vans been very versatile for me lately. I picked up appx $700.00 in deliveries and small installs over the last month. Launched and pulled the boat 3 times from the steep gravel boat launch that only 4wd trucks use. And I popped the rear bench in to haul 7 people to a get together last weekend !!! If it wasn't soaking me so bad for fuel I couldn't be happier !

Can't claim to have done anything on the actual van, but having finally re-fied the house, I've finally got enough spare cash to purchase Tranny cooler and rear shocks! I've only been waiting to pull the trigger on those things for like a year...

Re: What did you do to/with your van today?
Shagfari blew up. Motor is completely shot. My dad was driving it, and he said it had no power then it quit running and would not start. Towed it to the mechanics. He was able to restart it, but it made horrendous racket and died again. My dad and the mechanic are going to go Engine hunting tomorrow.
I also picked up a '95 astro choo choo conversion van. 114k. Gonna remove the back seat and use it for a work van. Shame because it's so nice inside, but the price was right at 1500.
