Cruise Control Inop
With all the vacuum lines in place and intact, I still don't have cruise control. Is it possible that the problem may lie in the Multi-Function switch?

The cruise control on the 98 is electronic. There is the multi-function switch as well as the module itself mounted to the firewall. If the fuse is good and the switch on the brake pedal checks out, I suppose the multi-function switch could be bad.

Could be the switch. I have a CC that quits everytime I use the signals or wipers or flik to high beams or back to low beams.
I strongly suspect the switch, but dont use it enough to care....

Sadly, with feet that are falling apart (literally) and arthritic knees, CC comes in very handy. I've even had to learn how to brake using the left foot.
