Blower motor noise only on high speed

Blower motor noise only on high speed
changed my blower motor and everything came out fine except I have a hum type noise on high speed, other speeds quiet as a mouse. Defective motor? case around motor is falling apart but everything else is cool. sounds like the noise is coming from passenger side and seems to be inside van? Any thoughts?

try to find a "case around motor" that is in better shape at a P&P maybe ?

Take the motor out and hook it up directly to the battery. If it hums you will know it's the motor. If not then it's the housing.

So this morning when I started van ao on high, quiet! In a bit the noise started not as loud as yesterday. Is there something that can heat up associated with the high speed. Plus since it was so quiet on startup it seems not to be motor.?
