The past little bit has been busy & we are
slowly picking away at it.
Accessory brackets were so ugly there was no way we were going to
install them the way they were.

So we stripped em down, cleaned them up
& cleaned the alternator/brackets,check pulley bearings,painted the pulleys/access.Brackets
& hit it with clearcoat. That ate up 4 days,Then installed them.
Headers & exhaust installed,Used new copper gaskets,New ARP stainless header
bolts,Made up a new 3 wire 02 sensor harness,installed it,went into the wiring
& relocated/cleaned up area's that I did not approve of & keeping things away
from the headers -Deal with things now, rather than later.

Dropped her down back on to it's two front feet,
Its on all 4's & looks good.Today I bought MSD leads,Cap & Rotor,To be installed later on.
There's allot more loose ends that were completed but it would take forever for me
to type it out - On to the pics

Hey dumb question what'd you swipe the bracket on the passenger side off of? I think it may solve a problem of mine.

Could you do me a favor and set it on a flat surface so the bolt holes are flush then measure the distance to the edge of the pulley or take a pic? I know I've lost it but right now I've got an issue because the spacing of the Camaro bracket I have is different than the truck bracket and under drive pulley I have. Frickin odd I realize but still.

Nice Work, How bout an update?

Hey I wonder if you guys can answer this one...
I have a 1987 TBI roller cam block, and I wanna put 98ish Vortec heads on it.
Pretty straightforward I think.
Will the pushrods from the early engine be the correct length to meet the vortec rockers?
or will I need to get the vortec pushrods too. The rockers look identical in shape.
Any insight will help, Thanks IA.

Small update,
front end is all back together,
headlight bezels,grille,bumper installed.
Stephanie installed the front/rear carpet & thats about as far
as we got.(cold & snow kicked in).
This weekend we are planning to get the seats in &
finish up some minor dash details.
-I wasnt here but Steph took the van out for a rip last weekend &
her response was "It scared me" :muhaha:

Doyoulikeithere - You can use the 87 pushrods with your vortec heads.
