Chevy & GMC Vans

the latest version i was thinking about was something like this.....i believe the nissan mini van has it....two strips on either side with metal down the middle. or is it the toyota? i just know i've seen it. i love how that sit's flush on the outside. only thing that would bother me are the ribs on the roof. i'd have to smooth those out. also with this design i figure i could keep the support beams in tact along with maintaining strength for the slider.

that does help lock, thanks man. does the track for the slider just float there or is actually tacked up like the support rails that go across?
