I would like to Relocate my Battery all the way in the REAR ( Past the rear axle). What Gauge wire would be good to use? Also should my Alt. be upgraded?

Had a model A streetrod years ago with a slight problem,,,battery was in the rumble seat area and it had whatever the regular gauge cable is,,had to swap to, what is it guys,, 1 gauge I think. Got to have it or you'll not have the amps to crank when motor is hot.Great post.

standard strand cable using a stock alternator.Naturally the larger the cable
the better,but it depends on the load.
