Whew! Glad you are still around Traveler - sorry we all missed your post. Is that '97 still around? You can join us '97s groupee ... hah ha.
I might of mis-read the post but what is your intent and daily use of the vehicle? It will help you figure out if you want 4" or 6" lift. I have a total of 4" lift running on 235/75/15LT (~29") tires daily and when I was really going hardcore mudding fun (wish I had photos ... ) I used 30" mudders and I didnt have a problem. If you are aimming to go larger tires other folks have already pointed out to go 6" lift \:D/

These vehicles are VERY capable. You will love your ride when you get it - so much that I highly suggest whatever you buy to mod on, burn the receipt fast so your better-half does not see the bills heh he.

My data shows '98 was the last year with the BW4472, after that the computer controlled NV136 was used.
