Thanks I appreciate that link Steve, that is exactly what was going on.
Its called a Stealth Bomber, because it can`t be detected by radar, and this aircraft looks soo strange and is really flat, it was awesome to see.
As I mentioned I live under the flight path of landing aircraft into my local little 'El Monte' airport, which has alot of "hobbyist and WW2 restored aircraft flying around at the weekends, while I`m working on my van.
I think that this plane is a Mustang....? (maybe, I dunno....) but it sounds awesome as it flies over my house on final approach....

I worked for 5 yrs @ Burlington Air Express as a opps agent in charge of the ground handlers. We worked 707's,727's,and MD80's.The ramp we worked on had a air show park the planes there once a yr.Some of the world war II stuff that came to the show where just too cool.Man I wish I had pics of them. You wouldn't think so,but some of the prop planes where louder than jets.It get in your blood a love for planes and at the time I guess I had it.

That's a T-28 Trojan.
The US used them in the Pacific during WWII and later to train pilots for carrier landings. You can still see where the arresting hook used to be.

If the B2 doesn't show up on radar, is it dangerous for it to be flying so close to LAX? How do they handle this problem?

It is not allowed to fly into the LAX landing corridor, which is basically over the 60 freeway heading West. This thing was cruising over our heads and I am 3 miles North of the 10 freeway which is way North of the 60.
