LOLOL. Actually, mail it to California. The FBI'll prolly get involved since you've now mailed a dangerous substance across state lines.
Actually, that would prolly take care of your heating costs as well. I hear that federal prisons are much better maintained and equipped than state doghouses :butthead:

i replaced my t-stat this year when my old digital Honeywell flipped out...

now i find out that my furnace control board has gone bad. The system is 14 years old and i'm not sure if i wanna throw a couple hundred dollars at it to fix it or just replace the whole darn thing...to the tune of $6400...

Find out the efficiency rating of your furnace. If you're running the older 80% efficiency versions, that means that for every $1.00 spent on heat, you get 80% in actual heat. Newer models get up to 94%, with the average high efficiency models hovering around 90-92%. Do the math and there's a chance you'll get your payback on a new furnace within the accepted 10 yr payback period for residential-application energy-saving investments. For commercial applications, the accepted payback period is a max of 5 yrs.
Oh wait! There's also the professional fees paid out to me for helping your sorry a$$ save some bucks in the long run. How to put a price on my invaluable expertise........? :-k
