NYC Flyover
Re: NYC Flyover
you can get out of debt as a country by giving government money out. this was how the great depression of the 30s ended they invented welfare. Once people had some money in their pockets they started to spend and that created jobs and jumpstarted the economy. With out that money getting handed out the depression would have lasted untill the start of WW2.

Re: NYC Flyover
Sorry, kamenz, but unless it's a state dinner, the Obama family pays for their own meals out of their own pockets. They are presented a bill at the end of each month. Those White House chefs don't come cheap! Yes, there's a private kitchen in the residence, but remember that the Executive Mansion is an office complex. The Obamas even pay for their own laundry. I should imagine that $400K each year gets sucked down quickly.
Obama promised change. Heck, EVERY president makes a change. Whether it is for the better or not remains to be seen. It will take about four years to see any results.

If anybody REALLY want things to change, get your congressperson to sponsor HR-1207. http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h1207/show The Fed has never been audited since it's inception.
