IT LIVES!!!!
I put 5 gallons of hydraulic oil in today and re-spooled and lubricated the cable on the winch. I will have to take speed measurements with no-load and under load to see what the difference is. I will post up some pics soon!
The speed difference is awesome already!

Went out and got line speed measurements.
At engine idle 800 rpm's we got 16 Feet Per Minute on the drum.
At 1500 - 1600 engine rpm's we got just over 35 FPM! =D>
Now these speeds may not mean much but consider that the top line Warn electric winches are running 35 - 40 FPM with no load. We measured ours with the van in tow and Lynne riding the brake to keep it the cable tight. Plus the hydraulic winch will pull rated load at about the same speed where electric winches will be down around the 5 - 7 FPM speed!!!!!! Under load is where my winch will shine!
