Zam have you ever thought of getting into the movie business i hear they need stunt men

someone made a good point how would no longer having a pick-up affect your life do you us it regularly outside of work?

vans are awesome, definitely enjoy the perks of the van and keeping your tools or personal belongings out of the outdoors, which tend to be wet here in oregon! and i do think they are the ultimate work vehicle, you can get a 1ton and tow just as much/well as you would with a truck, like aforementioned it keeps your stuff dry and safe, like you mentioned you can almost have an office in one....but i love trucks just as much for their own specialties. i also own an 02 chevy 2500hd 4x4 with an overhead rack. i do all my towing with it, not that a van couldnt handle its own, but i also love the fact i can throw whatever i want into it i.e. trash, rock, dirt, excessive lumber and all the messy stuff i would never want inside my van even if it were just a cargo. if a want to keep my stuff safe theres the ol'safari, shows, camping, etc. van! but gettin' er done i'll stick with my truck, with a garden hose even the dirtiest of you know what cleans right up! now if i were real loaded i would probably also purchase a full size chevy express, but we cant have everything. just keep in mind all the "truck type chores" you may no longer be able to accomplish before you make a final decision!

you have me beat on the rock for everything else i just throw my huge tarp down inside the van covers everything from roof to roof. I intend to get a pick up eventually to tow a fifth-wheel trailer (since i'm not sure if that contraption that was posted on here would be legal to tow behind my van...) A family friend has a fleet of RWD pickups and he's never gotten stuck (not sure how) and loves them. I borrowed one of them when my van was in the shop and realized it only a had limited slip diff yet he's never gotten stuck.
