Don't sell it. Just bring it across and park it. It's just going to be a parts van anyway, right?

If it was as simple as that I would have already brought it across, except for the fact that its not insured, not licenced ( the plates were left on so no-one bitches
in my complex) nor do I have a passport.

no passport ... so all we need is insurance and a second driver and it'll work out... hmmmm
i'd love to take it but i already have a 95 i need to move ASAP and no where to put it

Just seems like a damn shame ....and that's all I'll goin' to say about that!!
(Seeing as about a year ago this time Dean and I were laying under my van putting in 4.11's)

I recently tried to import a 5 speed van from Canada.I looked at the requirements of safety and EPA checks to get the needed paperwork for customs and the needed power wash of the bottom of it.In the end,the van wouldn't have passed either and that pushed the costs beyond what I thought it was worth.The US has repair shops they dictate as inspection stations and I called one that is right on 401.You need to make a appointment.

thanks to zam the wheels/tires will live on
went to his place yesterday morning where he and his son Quinn had the back end jacked up and nuts loosened .. only thing I left him with was a little bit of cash, a coffee and some 'rugged' looking wheels.. LOL
