Ethanol exhaust generates 2.14 times as much ozone as does gasoline exhaust.

When checking mileage, you must fill the tank to the same level each time. If you run it to "E" and put in $20 and the run it to "E" again and put another $20, you can't get an accurate economy reading. Also, we run 10% ethanol in our 1992 Buick and it gets better mileage than originally rated for. It runs perfect with no mods. I doubt the ethanol is causing the other vehicles in Sulpher to not run or start. I would bet it was more due to "bad gas".

It's not the equal dollar amount. It's the equal quantity amount. It's better to do it over several tanks and let the law of averages take effect.
