Geeze I rarely even use my landline phone ...
But, I have other ways of ignoring my children, Lol!

Cell phones make me nervous. I used to text on rare occasions, and call every now and then, but mostly I carried it for the camera. Thing is, I carried it in my pocket. Sometimes, after a long day of having it there, a spot on my leg about where the phone was would hurt. It was at that point that I decided I wasn't gonna deal with that anymore. My phone is at home sitting on my desk right now.

You're right, society as a whole is way too dependant on those things. Around here we have narrow roads, and all the time you'll see two people walking, both texting, on either side of the road. You have to slow to a crawl and squeeze between them, and if they glance up it's a miracle.
