Now try and remember, only 4 on at any given time, Don't be giving Officer Bob anymore reasons for wavin you over. LOL
I checked the laws when I installed my fogs to find out the legallity of driving with them on. There is no law in ontario atleast against driving with fog lights on as well as there is no limit to the amount of lights either BUT if you have over 4 they all together have to be under 300 candela. The laws regarding this state they just cannot be aimed into a passing cars windshield and that they cannot be any color other than white or amber. I'll go dig around the ontario law library again and find the sections and post em up for ya.

I actually found how the small the ontario highway traffic act is kinda amusing not to mention it appears to be full of holes.

Well hello fellow BCer!!! All the better to flash people out of the right lane, know what I mean?

Dark? Yes out in our woods up North-East it is FREAKING dark in the woods and the mountains. Or last time I was about 40kms out of the Chilton area ... blinding dark like the bat in the sunlight trying to fly ... I couldnt see my hand until I hit my face. I can really close to smoking a deer going at a slow 25-30kph LOL

OK - I am heading out to river bank to take some shoots - be back in a bit :)

Ok here we go!
Video clip on the bottom if you are interested, the darn P&S divx Pentax dont do the lights justice!!! The KC lights are whiter (the lens) than stock lo beams but the hi beams really are whiter (more light as well). Also the KC lights do light things up further away which is insane because when I switched to HIRs it already gave me more distance! The KC distance goes a bit more but is not as bright as the HIR (obviously) but at the same time gives the width - CRAZY!

Thats the ticket! LOL

Looks good, plenty of light to wonder the back roads now.

As to the 4 light rule, I have no idea of the B.C laws but ask yourself when do you ever see more than 4 lights on a veh ( i'm not talkin offroad or in the boonies ) so, to avoid unnessesary(sp) attraction I'd limit it to 4,until of course you get outta town and then blast them all if you need them :supz:

Like I said about a yr ago, light is addictive! once you see how beneficial it is along a back-country road at night you keep wanting more, lol

:D
I could get cheeky and say a lot of folks have more than 4 on. Then again I really dont understand why from factory many vehicle fog lights are wired the way they are - totally useless ... oh right! they are for looks! Well mine looks DARN good and I would never use unless I have to or else I will blind folks.

Yah I will use some common sense. On the flip side ... I can legally use the KC lights as my driving lights (SAE, DOT and from manufacturer recommended to run with lo and or hi beams!!!) leave my hi-beams toggled and when I want someone out of my way on a freeway (or highway) switch the dial on and off :)

Makes me wonder how much more light I will see if I upgrade the OEM wiring harness ... what can I say seeing more is better!

Looks good. Now have you thought about going to the back of the van and add some light bars in the rear window down low hooked to the brake lights so when people are following close they can see when you step on the brakes. Then maybe you will stop getting rearended so much. With the lift kit it puts your tri light very high. Either that or get the biggest solid steel bumper you can possibly mount on the van so you take no damage when you get hit.

Isnt that what the trailer hitch is for? :-k
I do have lights to mount back there for tailgaters but that will have to wait. I dont feel like doing much after seeing the bill for the rental vehicle accident :( Also I need to get those pitman arms in soon - I am wondering on the road.

When are we gonna meet up ... I still have that spare tire for you LOL

Hey Abe. I forgot about that spare tire. Are you coming to the Bowling meeting on the 8th? Could you throw it in the back of the van then? If not maybe we could meet up at Sanjs place if you want to come over when he pulls the motor out of his van.
