Oh that.It's easy.Use the controller that Fantastic roof vents uses on RV's.It senses rain and closes.

Water injection would be a good mod, but en engine soak would suk when we live in a rainforest...
So I havent tried a hoodscoop , yet...
Could you use a push-pull cable, and a hinged door inside?

didn't think about the hinge I was thinking of a sliding door type thing but I have not done much more then think about it yet-been raining here for like 6 days. I bought a new welder and have not even taken it out of the box. By the way I lost my password with the dj-joker name so this is still me.

So, I see by the style of dash, that your RS must be a 1989 or older, like my 87.
My 1990 GT has the newer style dash that doesn't stick out in the center, just like my 95 did.
I like the older ones like yours better. Its in beautiful condition !!!
Yours might already have the holes required, to hang a clutch peddle.
The older ones often did.

My S-10 is a standard trans, I think I will leave this van an Automatic because we plan on driving it to California some day. Thanks for the compliments I am very happy with this van.
