Front wheel cladding question (removing)

Started removing my LF cladding behind the wheel, by the drivers door. I am missing a piece, so I figured since a lift and tires are in my future, I would take it all off.
Now do I make a custom filler piece or hit the yards for a non cladding part to put there?
Reason I ask is adding larger tires will the non cladding part even be worth sourcing?

I think what you are looking for is the this piece. It can be found at your junk yard on the cargo version of theses vans. You will like the look once the cladding is gone but it really is a work out getting all the adhesive off. You still need to do some trimming on the fender and the back of the wheel well.

Thanks! a yard trip is in order, lots of broken knobs and switches, hope some are good in stock and the local pick and pull.
The stud spun on my cladding hope that doesn't happen in the yard.

I'm running 265/70-17 31.5" tires, and still have all my stock cladding in place.
It's been trimmed.. but still looks factory. Nothing rubs!
Bumper cover needed slight trimming too, which can actually be done with a razor-knife.

No prob, I really like the ways these things look with all that stuff gone! it really doesn't Chang the clearance for your tires but it does look better.

Thanks guys, mine is loose on 1 side, but I didn't remove as I thought there were holes I would have to fill, I have no problem ripping it off now.

Depends on the colors I like mine way better with them off. Mmusicmans looks great with. It is a pain but before long its over and done.
I have a section near the rear wheel opening that is missing paint, it mirrors the new "cargo" insert. So I will spray on bedliner that also. Should look decent.
