Good day guys, been a while since i have posted anything here.
I just bought a 98 Gmc AWD Safari Van last week end and some minor few things need to be done "do be expected" and one of them is the instrument panel "or cluster". I do have a spare 2001 Awd Astro van that i will take apart pretty soon and was wondering if the 2001 would fit in my 98?

Re: instrument cluster compatibilty
I wouldn't count on it. Some years back, I ran into an electrical incompatibility with different-year instrument clusters with the same physical dimensions and tie-in points on the second-generation Ford Ranger (pre-facelift), wanting to retrofit a tachometer at the time. I cannot rule out General Motors varying the pinout every two to four years on the instrument cluster to meet requirements for new telltales, even among years with the same cluster shells and gauge layouts.

Re: instrument cluster compatibilty
Welcome back, I looked around rockauto, they don't seem to have any display / dash parts to compare. Maybe try the junkyard sites for compatibility tools or lists they may have online. I'd be interested to know what you come up with.
Do you still have the '93???

Lol! I thought I looked, I saw AA's post was March and apparently that was all I saw.
Geez, March 22 ain't here yet and 2018 is long gone,,, LOL!
early April 1st? maybe I'll need to skip that day this year.
