Rear bump stops with 2" lift question

I bought some 5" tall bump stops for my Safari with a 2" lift. I have read the factory piece is 3.5" wondering if I should cut mine down to 4 or go back to the original 3.5 for that week bit of extra articulation? Thoughts?

I think that depends a bit on how much clearance you currently have with your particular spring setup.
I would not plan on reducing the available travel, to any less than the original factory amount.

Hi,
Just installed JOR Journeys Off a Road, bump stops on my 2" lifted 2003 Astro 4x4.
Here is a set of photos. Also, install Monroe coil over cargo shocks.
I only have about 1 1/2". Gap.

Hi,
Bump stops should prevent my p245/75-16 cooper discoverer at3 4s tires from rubbing on inner fender.

I'm running these with my 2 inch lift, did not cut them.
