Window switch wiring

Post by Vandurable »

Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to use a wire to jump any connections on the window switches to get them to operate? Both of my actual switches were corroded and wouldn't work when I bought the van and I'm looking to see if the motors are even working before trying to replace the switches. It's a 95 Vandura 2500

usually you can just clean up the corrosion and apply some dielectric grease, but yeah of course you can bypass any switch by just shorting the terminals.
Motors can be tested by applying 12V to them.
