MS 13

Post by Rebel »

Wondering if any of you saw the special last week on the MS13 (Mexican Mafia) gang that started in LA, I think back in the 60's or 70's ? It was very interesting show saying there are now over 100,000 members in 42 states here in the US, Mexico and South America. They also said that most of the orders to commit crimes come from a prison in Equador that held only MS13 members. Crimes that don't seem to be done for gain of any kind other than the thrill of killing or for a new recruit to be able to become a member. It seems this gang is being recruited by our terrorist groups here in the US.
After hearing the news about the UNC and Auburn students who were both shot in the head, for some reason it sounded as if these also were crimes done by gang members because there was no gain really but that's not unlike most murders,,makes no sense. Last night I heard on the news that the baseball cap worn by the murderer of the North Carolina student had a star on the front with an H in middle of star. Local police now say the cap is worn by a local Durham, NC gang members. My bet is, the Auburn Alabama student was killed by another gang member.
Anyway, just curious if any of you have any stories concerning the MS13 guys or any other gang and what your thoughts are as far as a nation wide effort by this gang.

Yeah Larry, they made it to Indy several years ago. Hispanic/Latino owned or operated businesses get 'tagged' and all hell breaks loose. With all the illegals (whatever you immigration opinions, these are still people), there is a large, yet silent, aura of fear.

These animals want to control employment, housing, illegal drug running, gaming... you name it, and they do it by fear & violence.

The larger the Hispanic/Latino population, the more the presence of MS-13. One of our neighboring little towns had a confrontation with several of the MS-13 folks when 'protection money' was demanded from a Spanish-speaking business.... several retired military & retired police folks had to take care of the 'problem'. Local authorities were ineffective. 'Direct and swift thought reorientations' were delivered along with the promise of meeting a 'higher authority' should they ever return. So far there's been no recurring problems in that area. In Indy there's bad problems almost every week.... the cops & press just do not want to admit it.

Jim, I've got a feeling this problem may be alot larger than any of us are aware of.
