29 on line right now,,most I've ever seen. I must be missing a holiday or something.

For the past few yrs we probably only had 2-3 members on at any given time Larry,but this did not accurately reflect the amount of members who are now browsing the site, especially in light of what took place several months ago.

Many members like myself, pop on in the morning with a cup of coffee and quickly go thru the NEW POSTS,then surf on over and check their email and other things then pop back in to either read or reply to certain topics,then pop in and out of the forum thru-out the day,based on the number of threads started and reply's etc made I knew we had to have more traffic visiting the site than the 2-3 ( skippy's guesstimate,lol ) showed. The 120min duration is a better reflection than the old 5 min,as you can see from the registered members that now show,if you click their names it will show that they are in fact online "

Its true that many members do not actually log out,but as I said many drop in and out of the forum thru-out the day and when they are "actively browsing" the site makes notice of this and puts their names up as being online. Its pretty much assumed that most of the reg members check the site at least once a day so there was no need to put that info up,instead the new info shows when the site is busy (kinda like rush hr,lol ) hope that makes sense.

I was on here early Sunday evening and it showed 41 people.

Just shows you this is the place to be! There is no other Astro/Safaro site close to it. I've been neglecting to visit lately due to some personal woes, but try to peek now and then.
