Don't think there's a cure, so I keep letting her feed the disease.
Rock rails, transmission skid, and rear diff guard add this weekend, along with some shaker can work by my wife.
I drill the pilot holes, with a Dremmel.
She gets the big drill.
Urban suspension flex.
Nice rear.
Eight days till we head towards the Knoxville, TN area for some camping and wheeling.

Yeah, she finally gets why I play with my vans. Down side is I rarely get to drive the Jeep. It's Ok though, I don't mind spotter duty.

Nice pics Aaron! Isn't it awesome when the wives want to wrench right beside you? I love it when Lynne fixes her own stuff!
That way I get to sit back with a cold refreshment and stuporvise.

Yeah, it's great to have her do most of it herself. She didn't want to do the drilling herself, so I ended up doing all the pilot holes with my Dremmel for accuracy. She still was a little worried about screwing thing up with the larger bits afterwards, but by the 3rd hole she was into it. After drilling a couple holes in the "frame rail" she comes up and says, "like butter", then ducks back under and continues. It ended up taking us most of the day to get the rails installed and I at one point commented that I now know why some people like to enjoy a cold one while wrenching, cause I sure wanted one. I need to keep more beer in the house.

Good to know that your completely infatuated with me to the point of randomly mentioning my name...
Looking good mate. I wish I could get my significant other into working on vehicles and or offroading. So far she only takes an interest in the completed vehicle and only if it has a deep old school rumble.

Hey, you going to be heading on 55 down this way? If so, throw me a PM and see about meeting up in Joliet or something. How close are you to Mt. Prospect btw, I should be headed up that way within a few weeks.

Nice Job. My wife likes to do disc brakes. You guys are high tech, cardboard work surface and all...
I have holes in my jeans and t-shirts from driveway crawling. I should get me some of that stuff.
The Jeep looks great! Careful there though, you might have created a monster. Competition for parts cash.
