Wow, what a project. That would intimidate me to no end. Swapping in an engine is one thing, but gutting the wiring of a vehicle completely and starting over again....
As we say up here in Kebeqland, Maudit Tabernak!

very cool! the cragers are awesome! I know where there's a set around here on a 90-ish 2wd chev pickup (that means 5x5 pattern for the strofaris) that doesn't run, the guy won't let them go though.
looks like you might need some fender flares, especially if dropping it down some..

My goal is 5 years on the project. That will include all bodymods, motor, trans, rearend, interior. As of now need to save up a little bit more for machine work, stripping the engine bay area, and cleaning it up.
Some of my plans are to:
Cleaning up the undercarriage and engine compartment then spraying it black but not sure with what yet.
Cleaning up the inside and spraying it black. Thinking of using John Deere Blitz Black.
Installing a 700R4 and a Ford 9" rear with 4.11 gears.
Installing a round tube grille.
Removing old mirrors and installing the hotrod gooseneck mirrors to the upper corner of the doors.
Installing a front airdam.
Installing a vynil top and sunroof.
installing a Nor-Cal rear wing.
Shaving the wiper cowl and doing away with the wipers and antenna.
Shaving the door handles.
Shaving the rear door hinges and possibly turning the rear doors into a gullwing.
Welding up the 60/40 side doors to make a full panel or a no door.
Painting the exterior with the John Deere Blitz Black-Going for that OldSckool Rat Rod look.
Having a new dash and doghouse fabbed up or modifiying the old one.
Having the interior wraped in long and short hair black fur.
Queen size bed with satin sheets-LOL
Etc......
NO FENDER FLARES!!!!!!!!!!
Going to be alot of work for a RAT-VAN!!!!

Awesome project. Plus I'm completely jealous that you have the garage space to tear down a van that far.
