I'm playing around with new google chrome browser. Any one else around here trying it out??
I'm finding it very very much like a Shelby cobra. No bells no whistles but fast as all get out and definitely gets the job done.

I like Opera. The newest version, 9.52, seems to keep the riff-raff at bay.

I've been using it on and off the last couple days comparing it to my usual browser Opera, it is as quick and I like the screen layout with minimal toolbar type crap, i didn't transfer over all my bookmarks from Opera because a, there was only a setting for I.E ( I guess that shows the folks at Googles sense of humour ) and b, because if I do decide to stick with it I don't need a ton of useless bookmarks hangin around.
I use Google docs but unfortunately Opera is not a supported browser ( as far as editing the docs ) so I always had to edit my docs at work using I.E, Obviously Chrome is supported so that is pretty handy, overall I'd give it a pass so far, at least for my needs.

I've read about it. Once someone develops a portable version that I can run from my USB, I'll give it a shot.

I have not had much luck with Chrome. Been using it for a week or so.
1. It is fast in itself, but I need IE open for multiple windows for work, and IE gets slowed WAY down when Chrome is open.
2. You cant use anything that needs Java with it. An example is Yahoo games, Euchre. Cannot be played in Chrome. That is not what I want Java for, but it is a good example.
3. On some forums, I dont get the "quick Reply" box at the bottom, but do in IE.
