he is singing about the war in IRAQ and how he wants to go home and asks when will this war be over, there is also a verse about his baby daughter he has not yet met.

i have never heard it or if i have cant think of it right now. what is the genre, country, rap, rock? do you know any lyrics from the song?

I know Alan Jackson put out a slower "heartfelt" anti war song out that might be closer matching to those lines.

I may be mistaken, but I think Toby Keith wrote that as a pro-american song in response to 9/11 and the twin towers.
