Figured I might as well start a thread as a place for us to post snowplowing pics. I don't have the SPB anymore but Lockdoc will hopefully show us some mountainside plowing this winter and Dunedog still has his plow and parking lots to do. We now have a confirmed 3rd member, ron, who has a 4 way plow fitted to his 94 Astro.
If anyone else wants to post pics of their property and their snow removal that is cool with me! I find it interesting to see what everyone has for snow in the different areas.
If you guys don't care I will throw pics in of plowing with my truck. I did plow today, but it was more to test out the plow and clean off the top of the ice. We have had about 4" so far. We are calling for more lake-effect Friday and Saturday so the plow is mounted and ready to go!

I need to find a new truck for my plow this year... took the old one out offroading last spring and destroyed it... frame was rotten and bent anyways... hmmm, maybe I will put it on the astro? I could just imagine
got some of that lake effect yesterday... but nothing really stuck, but I guess I should get the plow mounted to something ASAP.

We got a little bit yesterday. It mostly blew all in front of where the vehicles were parked so it was only cleanup of the drifts. Got down to -1 F this morning so the driveway is frozen nicely...no more mud plowing!
Gotta love the scoop position!

Well, if you can wait 5 or 6 hours, I'll come and get you! LOL
Nice pics Bill! Looks like you did it right. We got probably 8" or so and I did a quick plow job with the truck...man I love this thing!

Snow came to Selah yesterday/last night so I brought out my 'new' plow set up....
Well, hey, since she isn't working on my van, she needs to earn her keep somehow!
Now in my defense, it's not like I was just sitting around drinking hot chocolate. I put on my slippers and went out for a second to snap this pic! (Damn it was cold! 8-degrees F! You can bet I didn't stay out long. I don't know how she did it!)
But seriously, I inherited this snowblower this summer from my uncle who recently passed. It is a big improvement over my Toro electric I've been using for years. Being on the lee side of the Cascades, we don't see big snowstorms so this John Deere is probably all I need. I've considered selling this and putting the proceeds towards a blade for the front of my 4x4 ATV.... but I like being able to blow the snow away vs. piling it up.... I'm still undecided.
(Yes, I did most of the work today. She only came out to pose for a couple of pics.)
