Photobucket Question

Post by Rebel »

Strange thing,,tonight I loaded a few pics in my Photobucket account and found that about 8 of my albums were missing,,gone. Anyone have clue ? I had at least 8 to 10 albums and over 400 pics, now it only shows the new album I started tonight and a few pics from a couple of the missing albums.

Are you sure you've navigated to the right spot, like your home page and not a miscellaneous file like I've done in th past?

Sometimes I think I'm on my home page and I'm not, I'm in a random miscellaneous file that don't show all my albums on the side menu bar.

Larry, one way to find out if the pics are still around is to find an old thread of yours ( one that you think has pics that were in the missing albums ) and see if your pics are still visible in the thread., if they are you know the LINK is still alive and its just a matter of time to find the missing album.

EDIT: I just had a quick look and the pics in your Rack & Pinion install, as well as the Roll pan install and Slider gone threads are all still there.

Huuuuummm,,,all my albums are back other than the new Frenched Antenna I started last night. I really don't get it but not unusual for me. Guess it'll show up sooner or later. Thanks for the help,,guess we'll wait and see.

Sounds to me like you actually have 2 photobucket accounts, probably very similar in user name. I've done that before. I started an account a couple years ago, hardly ever used it, forgot the sign on info and I created a new account. Then one day I signed on the old account (without realizing it) and none of my pics were there. I had to contact photobucket to get it all staightened out.
