water pump kicked the bucket

bah this sucks my computer is down and i'm waiting for the new water pump to show up to get it running again so i can only go on the net at work or on this tiny little liuxish laptop.... this is almost as bad as my van being broken i'm going crazy :yikes:

'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.

yeah i have liquid cooling (well had....) waiting for the parts to come in but i miss my computer (sad i know)

ah, that never occurred to me, I thought part of your post was lost, and the water pump was for your van.

I thought that at first too! :rolleyes: Yeah I hate it when my overclocked processor is down due to a water pump...they just don't build 'em like they used too! :muhaha:

lol i don't mind the sound since i'm used to my old one (sounded like a small jet) i just wanted to see if the water cooling would hold up better. it's just like our full pumps apparently low liquid levels equal burnt out pump....

overclocking eh... i run it hard enough as is no need to shorthen its life any further

My friend at work is overclocking his rig and uses like 9 or 10 fans. LOL I bet if I set it on its side it would float on the floor like a hovercraft. :muhaha:

mine has for large case fans and four small ones on my chipset ram and video card plus water cooling on my cpu it's funny cuz i have a rad in the front of the case just feels weird when i have to use a wrench to work on my computer

Sure you can use a Chevy waterpump on your `puter, it will flow much better. You may wanna upgrade to a V8 cooling radiator for those extreme gaming evenings.... Haha!

i was thinking about upgrading the block but it does what i need for now when it dies i'll upgrade. it's ran cool as is so no need to upgrade the rad yet maybe when i get a bigger block
