swapping an early tbi v-8 and 700r4 into a later body

here my question...i have a 1993 body that was equipped with a tbi motor and a 4l60e . the engine and trans i have is a 1990 305 tbi and a 700r4.will i be able to plug the 1990 ecm into the wiring harness of the 1993 ecm without rewiring ?

Put the 4L60E behind the 305 and most of the problems will be solved. This is almost the same swap I'm planning. I'm going to keep the CPI. I'm pretty sure the 4.3 ECM will run the 305.

And in your sig it says "When will it ever end". The quick answer is "NEVER". When it's my TIME someone will find me laying on my creeper, covered with grease, and tools of some sort clenched in my hands.
At least thats my plan.
