Look what I bought!!!

Post by Logan »

FINALLY!! I've been wanting a utility/car trailer since high school and I purchased this back in November. 16 footer with Great Tires. Tracks really straight and true. Been looking for awhile and I couldn't bring myself to pay the $800 bucks that some of these things were going for. The the Price was right (a lot less than $800) and I just had to get it! -k- That's all.

Heck if that thing has brakes and dual 3500lbs axles it would be worth $2500 up here probably... might be able to find one cheaper but not likely!

Me too. I have too many cars/vans in the driveway though...especially on Sundays when all the kids come over to Sunday dinner after church. We line the street on both sides as well...looks like a used car lot out there!

Good score Logan. The only bad about those types of trailers is that the side rails prevent you from opening doors on cars. Astros are an exception though, I was able to open the door when I hauled Gary's. Here's a pic of mine, I plan on making the sides removeable and the fenders tilt, then repainting. ...paid $300 for mine! \:D/

unless designed properly the rails are part of the trailers structure. My buddy let his break off and ended up cracking the frame in 2 places from letting the trailer flex so much.

Nice to have a trailer around when you need to move something big !!

Wow, that I didn't know! Interesting. And it makes sense.

My dad has a trailer like this. It's a monster for most jobs, but when you need to move something big and heavy (like a car), it is worth having.

Under $800 would be a real steal around here!

That's why I will addin' some extra support rails under neith. I have to redo the a frame on the front anyway, they used only large angle iron instead of a c channel like most newer ones. I have used my big one probably more than my 5x8. I can even fit 60 bales of hay on there without blinking :yawinkle:
