hurricane Ike roof damage is finally repaired. When did that happen?? like 6 months ago?
The materials got dropped on my driveway thursday last week, and then rain, and some more rain and then...some more rain. An army of guys showed up at 12pm today after a horrendous thunderstorm rolled through, as I type it is 4:47pm and they are wrapping up. Sooo I'll get to enjoy my new roof until...JUNE! Pray for a rainy june and july in the gulf..keeps the water temps down and the hurricanes away.
and to think, I filed my claim the 2nd day after the storm subsided.
Well, one thing on my to do list taken care of.
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.
