Yep,,,she shut um down. They should all be ashamed of themselves for thinking looks have something to do with a voice. Hope they all learned something from this.
Her voice is good but am always on the look out for that something different that only comes around once in a generation or so. Roy Orbison,

Brenda Lee, Celine Dion,Patsy Cline or a little known singer from outside of Florence, Al. named Marsha Thornton who dropped out of the business shortly after getting started. She now writes songs in Nashville.

or K.D. Lang.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tv7S8v3rM-U
If you haven't heard K.D.Lang sing one of Roy Orbison's songs, don't miss the one above.
Not trying to take anything from the lady on AI,,she was great, no doubt.

Showing your age, Larry. I'm with you all the way. 60's and 70's music will never be out of style. I saw Roy Orbison in person in Jacksonville back around '64. After the show he came to the club where we all hung out. Did another show while he was there. That music can really bring back the memories. \:D/

He was one big voice wasn't he skip. I saw him in 65 in Montgomery. They used to have these great rock and roll shows there every year. He was there with Sonny and Cher, Lou Christi, The Kingman, Sam the Sham and a few others. Great time great days. Where is my 55,,makes me want to ride.lol
Roy's a sad story like so many big stars. While he was visiting a friend and showing the friend a picture of his family, his house was burning at that very moment and lost both of his kids. Lost his wife rising bikes,,looked back and she was gone,,think over a cliff. His second wife has a little record shop up south of Nashville.
