Who here has seen the videos of the Air Force One flyover of New York City? I only heard a blurb about it on the radio and that was it. Having looked up some of the videos I can see why a lot of people were in a state of terror. Can you believe this crap?

Stoopidity at it's finest. How can you NOT think to warn a city who's public went thru something like 9/11? WTF???? ](*,)

This deal should tell everyone that this crew ain't gotta a clue about the people who elected them. To kind of go out on a limb here and hope it doesn't stir up an endless thread,,,the folks who elected this idiot surely must see the light by now.

I guess the White House has never heard of Photoshop [-X This Fly-over was done on purpose to gauge peoples reactions. Those who allowed it should be immediately fired but they won't be.

My exact same thoughts, they most definitely should lose their jobs for complete stupidity! How many lawsuits you think will popup over this? Definitely feel it was staged to boost and or gage the fear factor! I've decided to steer clear of talking to much politics here, because overall I believe all high level politicians are full of s**t and simply belong here...

Not a chance! These are people that elected a man with NO experience because he PROMISED change.
In the eyes of many, he can do no wrong! And of course the majority of the media won't call him out on it... (and those that do are trivialized by the Administration.)
It's going to take another year of a tanking economy, a major international incident, or god forbid, an attack on U.S. soil, before people wake up and the mainstream media quits holding his hand. (I hope it is only a year....)
The question is, how much irreversible damage is he going to do in the meantime?....

No matter what happens he can't do any more damage to your country and the world economy than what happened with the last guy in the office for 8 years.

I'll agree with you,,Bush and the Republicans sure started a huge mess but they did warn of a pending fall if a change wasn't made and there certainly isn't a reason to continue with more spending in 100 days than has been spent since the beginning of our country. You can't borrow your way out of debt,,can't be done.
We'll find the results the first of next year and it won't be pretty.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Bush was a moron. Obama is far smarter. He can do far far more damage.

I'm not thrilled with "then" or "now". Bush walked into a war and Obama walked into un-economy but to compare.
In only a 100 days, here's the mess thus far:

Anyone can change things. I could change things. I don't know if I could make things better, I don't know if anyone could.
I'm just hoping....

eh, I think he can. But in reality, I think we'll stay right where we are in this recession at the brink of depression. Our taxes will just be a bit higher.
Think about it. For a trillion dollars, our government could have bought between 6 and 10 MILLION troubled mortgages, worked out some very lenient payment plans with the homeowners and gotten much the money back over time without a tax hike. Or as they were repayed, they could have delegated that money back to infrastructure and other plans that create jobs. Then they could have passed federal guidlines criminalizing the lending practices that got us into this mess. That would have ended the bank issues, and investor confidence would have come back because the banks would have been out of hot water. Then credit would have flowed to the businesses again and therefore and it would have effectively ended the recession VERY quickly. Niether bush nor obama did that though...
Instead both this guy and the last one have chosen to keep us a government of the corporation, for the corporation and by the corporation, by simply handing money to these financial giants. The last guy was going to do it with 700 billion and this guy knew he could get more.
That said, I'd love to hear from anyone who was in NYC when this flyover happened.
