2000 Chevy Astro approx. 270,000 km
Detect a bit of missing at idle after warmed up.
Generally runs well. No problems with power.
Did plugs at 160,000 km as per maintenance schedule. Also new rotor and cap OEM about a year ago.
Still has original plug wires.
No DTCs i.e. no CEL
Did fuel pump at 128,000 km
Suggestions?
Thks.

I don't have an answer for you, but I'll give your post a bump.
Lot's of guy's here with much newer vans than mine. Somebody will have some input.

I would suspect the plug wires with them being original. When you swap them, inspect the cap and rotor for wear.

No problems with power and I haven't noticed the missing lately. My wife drives the van about 95% of the time and she hasn't complained or noticed anything but then even if it was dying she probably wouldn't notice until it was dead #-o
Plug wires would be my next step if it starts to act up again.
Thks for thoughts.

I had something similar on my '97, and replaced the wires and coil. I'm pretty sure the problem was the wires as one of them fell apart as I was pulling it out, and I was not pulling that hard.
