so lately i've been rolling an idea around to build a little toy vehicle for my god-son (i say that but it's probably more for me anyways) and i wanted to use motor inside the wheels or at least mounted behind them but very shallow. The motors i wanted would have the housing rotate around the coils the closest thing i've seen are the ones in computer fans (i have one in pieces in my hand right now :D ) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... -Poles.jpg or a floppy drive one http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... r_open.jpg
but i can't find any place that just sells that type of motors
