Wow, it seems like it was just yesterday I was posting up the '08 event! If you like VW's, take a look at this year's pics.

Rat Bugs...

I'm not familiar with how bugs are set up with an air-ride system so I thought this one was interesting.

Resto Mods...

This Bug was featured in a magazine.

Busses...

This was a cool vehicle for a hot dog vendor.

How low can you go?....

Camper Vans...

This Ghia had the IMSA Racer-look and was V-8 powered. Don't know how it performed, but looked like a fun ride!

This bug was leaving as we arrived. This was one wicked sounding machine! I'm sure it has more 'go' than 'show'... and it was a real looker too!
Image

A couple of VW-powered trykes were present. My daughter (right) and her friend wanted to be included with this one.
Image

Image

Only three Things were present when we were there. (We saw a fourth leaving Moxee as we approached on the highway.)
Image

Image

A few dune buggys were present. (Cue Dune Buggy by The Presidents of the United States now... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq5OyumR_1o)

WIDE one.
Image

Herbie was present with a cool little camper.

So if you think I'm against water-cooled VWs.... well, yes I am! (I'm kidding!) Anyway, this is the one I'd want... and I'd want a diesel!

Man that brings back memories. I had a '68 bug in the late '70's. I bet that V8 ghia will go airborne. Shoot, my bug used to get light in the front end at about 70mph.
