Dean and I have to use a proxy server so we can get on the site. We have cleared all cache, cookies and browsing history, rebooted the modem router and computer. Dow has looked into the site and can't seem to find anything wrong. I have even called our ISP and they have no freaken clue. Of course it would be nice if I could speak to someone that didn't speak broken English.
Last night when we tried to get on and it redirected us we could only do that a couple of times then the site would no longer load at all for us. Just wondering if anyone with more computer knowledge than myself would have any suggestions.
Anyone else having to use a proxy server?

Re: Anyone else having to use a proxy server?
FINALLY WE ARE BACK UP AND RUNNING WITH NO PROXY
I was on the phone last night for a good 2+ hours between Time Warner Cable and Earthlink and they kept placing the blame on the other person and wouldn't help me. They only had me clear cookies, cache and history that I had done a million of times already.
Finally this morning I was sick of not being able to get on and the proxy I used last night was also acting up, so I gave it one more shot. I actually got a competent person at Time Warner Cable and she had me connect the modem right to my computer bypassing the router. Low and behold the site worked when the router wasn't involved. Therefore, we located the problem to the router. I ended up calling the router company and was getting very helpful advice from them until we came to where we needed to enter a password and I wasn't sure of the password and Dean was at work. I tried to locate the password but couldn't find it. So I called the company back and we reset the router to get around the password and here we are now able to access the site without a proxy.
I was on the phone for another good 2+ hours this morning just trying to get it all figured out. What really bothered me was this was the only site that we had to use a proxy for so I figured there had to be a solution for it. Just took a bit of time and lots of persistence.
I feel like a weight has been lifted off me now that the problem was figured out.

I didn't even think of your router, not that I knew you had one. Routers can cause a whole host of issues. I have went through several wireless routers, and when they start to go I got really unusual hookup problems on web sites.
