I have just returned from a 2 week vacation visiting my best mate in Southern Oregon (1200 miles away)and I had an absolute blast. He is a professional chef by trade, working at an exclusive retirement home which caters to the rich and famous so we cooked like crazy. I love to cook, so I was absorbing all his chopping / slicing and dicing skillz as well as cooking techniques.

He lives in a house on 3 acres of Forest land, where deer and bears stroll through your yard at will, which blew me away compared to living in a concrete jungle here in LA. I`m sure that some of you guys are used to that, but for this city-boy it was soo wonderful to experience.

hey buddie,,,,looks like you had a blast and thanks for posting those pics. Looks like some of your grilling here also. We sure miss ya in south Alabama. This guy can work wonder on the grill even if we don't have fresh Salmon at the 96 mile marker.
