from oct 14th 09 all melted away now.

Thanks TB, Not alot of snow, but thats just how it starts off. A little tease here, followed by some sunshine and warmth. Then BOOM, ya got a foot of the stuff on the ground. Thanks for the pic. Jim

I got about 10 inches today, and it's still snowing.

Got 3" so far today. Most we have had so far this yer. Gunna fire up the tractors tonight and plow some snow for the first time in weeks.

i heard on the radio that there was this storm and snowfalls in southern/southwestern ontario yesterday and the night before. yet, where was it? bizarre. i ran into a guy from 30min west of me.. they got a bunch (more than 6" so he said) .. and you potskie, only 30min east of me, got a bunch... i think we got maybe 1" :-k

We got diddly, maybe an inch in the past week. I am not complainin, its the 1st year I hav'nt had to do ANY shovelling

good ol lake effect. falls where it wants and ya can't forecast it. london got nothing at all sun. yet 1 hr west of here got over 12"

huron is still so warm that we are all going to get slammed in ontario. last thursday you shoulda seen the lake effect comming off of superior to huron building even more then slamming bruce and barrie areas.

I've heard of this "Lake Effect Snow." I'm glad I live where you can see the other sides of the lakes and where we have REAL mountains.

I remember Billings to be rather flat with rolling grass foot hills, you do have the Beartooth Mountain Range, but they are not really in Billings, and they are no larger than the hills behind my backyard.
Where are these "Real" mountains that you speek of.
