Chevy & GMC Vans

My drivers seat has a few worn spots in it and I was quoted $250 to have it redone which is a bit high to me considering I'd be pulling the seat and taking it in to the shop to have it redone. While scouting through a few boneyards I found a very nice pair of what i think are Astro Captain Seats in a 2000 Astro Hi top Conversion Van that match my 2nd & 3rd row seats perfectly. I could buy them for $150 if I pull them but I was wondering if they are a direct bolt in because I don't want to do any drilling to get them to work.

1) Has anyone here done this seat swap ?
2) Are they a direct bolt in ?

I know that the stock seats will swap, don't know about conversion van seats.

I would think they would bolt in. Take a tape measure with you and check the bolt pattern. If it matches, pull them out!

I took a ride out to a local pick and pull auto recycler and found a matching drivers seat in a 2000 Safari with no tears or rips for $32.00

I'll be cleaning it up this evening and installing it tomorrow.
