Yup, our first gold on home soil. Only took three Olympics in Canada, but it came quickly in this one. Congratulations to Alex on winning the mens mogul gold.

Yep I caught it on TV last night as well, Kudos, his last run was awesome. The turncoat Canadian racing for the Aussies who was supposed to be all the s**t just about crashed and ended up outside the course. Poetic justice if you ask me ( well ok, no one did, but anyway...)
I didn't know about this gold medal drought till a day or two ago, which really perplexed me. Canada has lots of snow. Canada has lots of people grow up with and like snow type sports. How could this be?

Firefox was right! It's CEREBRAL palsy.
I think that Alex won the gold more for his brother than for his country. In any case, WELL DONE!

The snowboard cross was kinda cool. US, Canada, one two. And it was good to see Bode Miller metal. That downhill course is unbelievable.
The men's hockey tournament is going to be incredible.
