I performed my weekly walk-around of Klementine, only to find that some schmuck STOLE one of the tire trim rings! If I catch him, he can keep the trim ring -- provided he can extract it from where I'll place it!

sounds like the demographic is changing for the worse around your current domicile Squid. Might be time to build a log cabin somewhere out on the tundra

Sure you didn't just take a corner too hard and pop it off, like hub caps in the movies.

I almost posted the same thing, but I suspect the Squid does an inspection at Reveille at dark thirty every day.

LOL. I've chased down several over the years after Burt Reynolds like manuvers and popped them back on. I've lost a few with out knowing it also. Thats why I like center caps, dog dish style, and aluminum wheels. Those don't usually fly off.

I don't know....I've lost 3 of the 4 center caps and I took the last one off and put it in the house as a go-by with the intent of ordering new ones. Now...I can't find the 4th one either ](*,)

The good part...the neighbor's insurance bought the van and then gave it back! How awesome is that?

Fix a tranny in a written off vehical.
You would be far better off selling it for parts, take your $1500 and buy something different.

I can't afford a new(er) vehicle because I'm working on TEETH for my mouth, which will cost as much, if not more, than what the vehicle will cost. Without this vehicle, neither will become a reality.
