? about 1959 to 1964 Impala frames
just wondering if anyone on here knows if the frames for the '59 to '64 impalas were the same? i know the drop top frames had extra mounting points to add rigidity but don't know if there was a difference between years...

'59 and '60 are identical, there is no telling them apart.
'61 to '64 do have some differences, but the basic overall dimensions are the same.
I believe in '61 they added two more body mounting points but these mounting points do not effect your ability to interchange.
The convertable's frame is built a little heavier than the hardtops frames were with more fish plating and larger gusset's. A better choice if you can find one.
All in all they do interchange but there are minor differences/improvements.
