Oil coolant lines

Post by 1Gary »

Anyone know how long the oil coolant lines are on my 1994 Astro??.They have had a small leak that now has gotten worse.Autozone wants about $100.00 for both of them and I don't want to eliminate them, but I wouldn't mind building ones that are a little better than the stock ones.

Look on this site, someone has posted a detailed fix for leaking cooler lines. It's very simple and they even have pics to show how it was done. The only cost was 4 worm clamps.
Thanks...

Or, Rock auto, about $60.

Stevieb is right, if you're careful, you can remove the crimp and replace with clamps. All you're out is a few hours, and can be done on the van if you pull the shroud.
