This is what I am doing for my V8 safari exhaust: headers out to 2.5 into a Y pipe out to a 3inch catalytic converter
into another 3 inch to dual 2.5 Y pipe, to two 2.5 inch pipes over the rear axle then into two Thrush welded turbos.
I have made two rectangle sheet metal exhaust tips that will be mounted in my roll pan and the mufflers will be attached to them. When I get this done I will add pictures. I figured there is a need for weight distribution as well as more room to put the mufflers at the back. The reason I am using two Y pipes is basically because i had the front section custom made and the cat/con is 3 inch and hollowed out. And this section was on another Safari I built in the past. (it was totaled)
