Embarking on a new career path. FINALLY!

Post by blk lt awd »

well it's been a bumpy few months. from being laid off to taking and enjoying the time off to being stressed out to the max about not having a pay cheque coming in and even wondering if i'd even get to drive the van this year or not.....

finally it's over! i decided to embark on a new career path. after having my head buried in books for the past couple months i wrote my final exam yesterday. got my result and passed with flying colors. yay!!! :bounce: it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. now i just need to find a good brokerage to sign up with in the next couple weeks here. oh i guess i should mention what i'm doing...haha. i am now getting into real estate. never imagined i'd be heading down this path but hey....everything happens for a reason i suppose.

so my first plug for myself....haha...please remember me, your astro/safari lovin' realtor for all your real estate needs in the lower mainland, even B.C. sorry....just had to.....

I sincerely wish you the best of luck.
The lower mainland isnt so bad but a good friend of mine here recently gave up realty, and re-trained to sell insurance.
These are bumpy times my friend.

Good luck to ya! I'm not sure about the economy up there, but if it's any better than it is here in USA you got more than a chance at succeeding!

thank you for the well wishes guys. greatly appreciated.

the market in my neck of the woods actually isn't all that bad. vancouver over all is doing pretty well. there are some slower areas of course but just to give you an idea, in east van where i live houses are still selling within a week. these are the ones priced right of course but it is driving up the price of houses around here. plus i've got the season on my side as well. summer is prime time for sales. hopefully it'll work to my benefit. x fingers. just trying to find the right brokerage to sign up with. doing my interviews this week. just a great feeling working for myself again vs. another company.
