added a few pictures to my photo bucket of my projects
Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.

The Orange engine is the new engine the blue engine was from my last Astro.
The van was a cargo van and I completely stripped and I installed a front frame from a 92 Safari GT
The rear doors were removed and will be replaced later tail lights will be welded in and I will be installing caddy tail lights.
I am also installing the dash from the 92 with gauge assembly from a 94.

Unique nbs stepside on obs S-10, looks better than I would expect!
99 SLT Safari AWD, G80/GT4 rear, Burgundy, 196,000 and counting (strictly AMSOIL) flowmaster 40series muffler no more cat, K&N Kone Filter, roll pan, 255/60/15 rubbers mounted to 15x8.5 inch American Racing Tailgunner wheels, billet grille, CB Radio, Alpine Deck, Shag carpet, the list goes on....
03 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, LB7 Duramax Diesel, 5 speed Allison Tranny, Crew Cab Long Bed, no muffler or cat, 4 inch turbo back and side piped. not too many other mods yet, also addicted to AMSOIL.

LOL well I bought the truck for 500 bucks and the original bed was rusted beyond repair so I went shopping in local salvage yards and bought the 98 bed for 200.00 bucks. So its a victim of circumstances. Its painted with rustoleum thinned down and sprayed with my spray gun.
